Editable Invoice Template with Your Logo
A ruled invoice with your own logo at the top. Add line items with dates, and the row totals, subtotal, tax and balance due are all worked out for you. Print it or export a PDF with no watermark.
Create an invoicePutting your logo on an invoice
A logo does one useful thing on an invoice: it tells the person opening it, in the half second before they read anything, which supplier this is. That matters most where it is least glamorous, in an accounts inbox handling forty invoices a morning.
Keep it small and keep it legible. This template gives the mark a fixed height beside your business name rather than a fixed width, so a wide wordmark and a square badge both sit correctly without being stretched. A PNG with a transparent background will sit on the sheet cleanly; a JPG will carry its own white box, which is usually invisible on white paper and obvious on anything else.
The file never leaves your device. There is no server here to send it to: it is read in the browser, resized, and kept in your own browser storage alongside the text you type.
Why a ruled grid rather than a list
Most invoice templates draw only the rows that have something in them. This one always draws at least eight, ruled on all four sides, because an invoice is often still a printed form: something taken to a job, filled in by hand, and handed over.
The grid carries a date column as well as description, price and quantity. Per-line dates matter whenever the invoice covers work done across several visits rather than one delivery, and they are the first thing queried when a client disputes an amount.
What is calculated for you
Every figure below the line items is derived, and none of them can be typed:
- Each row total is quantity times unit price
- The subtotal is the sum of the row totals
- A discount is applied before tax, and is capped at the subtotal
- Tax is charged on the discounted amount, at the rate you set
- Any amount already paid is deducted to give the balance now due
With no discount, no tax and nothing paid, the sheet shows a single boxed total, which is what the layout is designed around. The intermediate lines appear above the box only when there is something for them to say.
Keeping a stock of blank invoices
Turn on the blank printable form option and the reference fields stay as empty ruled lines rather than disappearing. Print a dozen with your logo and bank details already on them, and you have a pad that costs nothing and still looks like it came from a supplier rather than from a notebook.
The same sheet exports as a PDF whose text is real text, not a picture of text, so an invoice you email can be searched, copied and read by the accounts software at the other end.
Common questions
What image formats can I use for the logo?
PNG, JPG and WebP. A PNG with a transparent background sits best beside the business name. The file type is checked in your browser before anything is drawn.
Is my logo uploaded anywhere?
No. There is no server to upload it to. The file is read on your device, resized in the browser, and kept in your own browser storage.
Do the line totals and the invoice total calculate themselves?
Yes. Each row total is the quantity times the price, and the subtotal, discount, tax and balance due are all computed as you type. There is no field to type a total into.
Can I print blank invoices to fill in by hand?
Yes. The grid always draws at least eight ruled rows, and the blank printable form option keeps the reference fields as empty ruled lines.
Is the PDF text selectable and machine-readable?
Yes. Exports use the jsPDF native text API, so the output contains real text operators rather than a rasterized image of text.
