These terms govern your use of templatebox.win and the document tools published on it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. The Service

TemplateBox provides free browser-based tools that generate documents on your own device. The tools are provided as-is and free of charge. No account is created, no subscription is sold, and no payment is taken at any point.

2. Your Documents Are Yours

You retain full ownership of every document, image and file you create with these tools. We claim no licence over your content and could not exercise one if we did, because your content is never transmitted to us. You may use the documents you generate for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, without attribution and without restriction.

Exported files carry no watermark and no usage limit.

3. Your Data and Its Persistence

Work in progress is stored in your own browser's local storage on your device. It is not backed up, not synchronized between devices, and not recoverable by us under any circumstances.

Clearing your browser's site data for this domain, using private browsing mode, or switching device or browser will result in the permanent loss of unsaved work. Export anything you need to keep. See the privacy policy for full detail on data handling.

4. No Professional Advice

The templates, guidance articles and explanatory text on this site are general information only. They are not legal, tax, accounting or employment advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of the site.

Requirements for receipts, invoices, employment records and disciplinary documentation vary substantially between jurisdictions and change over time. You are responsible for confirming that any document you produce meets the requirements applicable to you. For any consequential matter, obtain advice from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use these tools to create documents that are fraudulent, forged or intended to deceive. Specifically, you must not use the site to produce:

You must not attempt to interfere with the operation of the site, circumvent the advertising that funds it, or redistribute the site's own code as your own service.

The templates themselves remain ours. You may use them to make your own documents, including for commercial purposes as section 2 describes, but you may not copy, resell or redistribute the templates, their designs or their artwork as templates, template packs or design assets.

6. Advertising

The tools are funded by advertising. It appears on the interstitial page shown between selecting a template and opening an editor, on the guide and template information pages, alongside each editor, and alongside the template catalogue on the home page. Exported files carry none.

Advertisements are supplied by a third-party network. Their content is not selected, endorsed, reviewed or verified by us, and any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser. See the privacy policy for how advertising is isolated from your document content.

7. Availability

The site is provided without any guarantee of availability. It may be modified, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. Templates may be added, changed or removed.

8. Disclaimer and Liability

The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including loss of data, loss of profit, business interruption, or any consequential or indirect loss. This includes loss of unexported work held in browser storage.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

9. Third-Party Services

The site depends on third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, analytics and advertising. Each processes connection data under its own terms and privacy policy. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Copyright Complaints

If you believe a template, graphic or article on this site copies work you own, email [email protected] with the page or template concerned, the work you believe it copies, and how to reach you. We will review every complaint and remove or change material where it is well founded.
